1. About Us

These terms govern your use of the waste removal services provided by Rubbish Near Me, operated by Susan Brayne, 1 St Margaret's Road, Hooley, Coulsdon, Surrey CR5 3RB. Environment Agency Waste Carrier Licence: CBDU553816.

2. Our Services

We provide the collection and lawful disposal of non-hazardous waste from residential and commercial properties within our service area. All collections are carried out by licensed operatives in compliance with the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and associated legislation.

3. Bookings & Quotes

Quotes are provided in good faith based on information supplied. Final pricing is confirmed on the day of collection after inspection of the waste. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the volume or nature of waste differs materially from that described.

Bookings are confirmed by us verbally or in writing. Same-day bookings are subject to availability.

4. Payment

Payment is due on the day of collection unless invoiced terms have been agreed in advance. We accept cash, BACS, PayPal, and invoice for business accounts. Failure to pay may result in the waste being returned and legal action to recover the debt.

5. Your Responsibilities

You warrant that:

• You are the legal owner of the waste or have authority to arrange its removal
• The waste does not contain hazardous materials (asbestos, chemicals, clinical waste, etc.)
• Safe and reasonable access to the waste will be provided on the agreed date

You remain liable as the waste producer under UK law. We will provide a waste transfer note upon request.

6. Hazardous Waste

We do not accept hazardous waste of any kind. If hazardous materials are discovered during collection, we reserve the right to refuse or abandon the collection without refund. You will remain responsible for the safe and lawful disposal of any such materials.

7. Cancellation

Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled collection. Late cancellations may incur a call-out charge. We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances; in such cases a full refund or rescheduled collection will be offered.

8. Liability

We carry full public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to direct loss or damage caused by our negligence. We accept no liability for pre-existing damage, or for delays caused by circumstances outside our control.

9. Complaints

Any complaints should be directed to info@rubbishnearme.co.uk within 48 hours of the collection. We will respond within 5 working days.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
